The People 329; ca. 1953; The original ad for this pattern reads: Matching scarves and capes are proving a popular fashion, and today we give you another bargain pattern - two skirts, a scarf and a cape.
One skirt is a wrap-over with fringed scarf. The other design has flat pleats back and front and is partnered by a fringed cape which slots through the belt.
Original newspaper ad found with this pattern. The backside has an article on the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
