Vogue Americana 1160; ca. 1974; Anne Klein - Misses' Jacket, Cape, Skirt, Pants and Blouse. Semi-fitted, lined jacket has jewel neckline, back yoke extending to forward shoulder seams, full length sleeves with zipper closing, welt pocket, front separating zipper and topstitching. Purchased belt holds in slight fullness at waistline. Gored, flared skirt, in above mid-calf length, has waistband with belt carriers and back zipper closing. Wide, straight-legged pants, darted into faced waistline, have left and right side zipper closings and topstitching. Flared, mid-calf length cape, lined to edge with contrast fabric, has shaped standing collar with buttoned tab, side-front arm openings, front separating zipper closing and topstitching. Close-fitting blouse (for stretchable knits only) has turtleneck (that can also be worn as a hood), full length sleeves and back zipper closing. Because of fabric and construction, zigzag stitching is necessary for blouse.
