Vogue Paris Original 1194; ©1952; Lanvin-Castillo - One Piece Dress, Stole and Dickey. Slim skirt with kick pleat in left side seam, and side front released inverted pleats joins the bodice at waist-line. Welt pocket either side of deep V neck-line. Three-quarter length two-piece sleeves. Dickey buttons at front below shaped collar. Triangular stole. Belt and bow included.

"We showed the sister of this dress in our first Paris issue, as typical of Castillo’s series of (and a whole trend for) the easy little tweed dress. The skirt is narrow, but walkable, and the back softly bloused. Of tweed, the dickey; the lining of the stole, jersey." (from Vogue, October 15, 1952)
