Vogue American Designer 1278; ca. mid 1970s; Geoffrey Beene - MISSES' COAT, SKIRT, PANTS, BLOUSE AND SCARF. Very loose-fitting, tent-shaped coat (unlined and unconstructed), four inches below mid-knee length with front and back and shoulder yoke gathered into convertible collar has extended shoulders and pockets in side seams. Wide, full-length sleeves have buttoned bands. Flared skirt, four inches below mid-knee length has waistband extending to wrap and tie belt and band trim. Concealed pockets and front zipper closing are under skirt front. Wide, straight-legged pants have front-buttoned waistband, side front slanted welt pockets and mock fly front zipper closing. Topstitch trim. Loose-fitting, pullover blouse has front placket neckline and front and back gathered into narrow bias neckband. Full-length kimono sleeves with gussets are gathered into narrow buttoned band. Self-scarf.
