Vogue Paris Original 1294; ca. 1955; Patou’s spring travelling ensemble – a slim, collarless two-piece dress of thin flannel and a double-breasted finger-tip coat of camel’s hair fleece. The dress could also be silk-Shantung or surah. A chiffon scarf completes the ensemble (from Vogue Pattern Book, April-May 1955)
