Vogue Paris Original 1538; ca. mid 1970s; Emanuel Ungaro - Misses' Coat and Belt, Jacket, Skirt and Pants. Loose-fitting, lined, mid-calf length coat, with princess seaming (no side seams), has oblong collar, front-buttoned band closing, one-piece yoke with shaped back seaming and patch pockets with bands. Full-length sleeves, with bands, are set into cutaway square armholes. Self tie belt holds in fullness at waistline. Loose-fitting unlined jacket, with stretchable rib knit collar, band cuff and waistband, has front-buttoned band closing and detailed seaming (no side seams). Full-length sleeves, gathered to stretched sleeve bands, are set into cutaway square armholes. Seams at waistline and above wrists are elasticized. Lined straight skirt, three inches below mid-knee, without side seams, has waistband, side front and back pleats, side front welt pockets and back zipper closing. Lined pants, with slightly flared legs, have contour waistband, mock fly front closing and side back seams (no side seams). Topstitching. Purchased top, scarf and belt.
