Vogue French Boutique 1571; ca. 1977; Christian Aujard - MISSES’ TOP, DRESS, SKIRT AND PANTS. Loose-fitting, below-hip length top or dress, four inches (10 cm) below mid-knee, has pointed collar on band, slightly extended shoulders, front-buttoned band closing, center front pleats and patch pockets with buttoned flaps. Full-length sleeves with buttoned placket opening are gathered into buttoned cuffs. Self tied belt, stitched in place at center back, holds in fullness at waistline. Top has side hemline slits. Topstitching. Slightly flared skirt, four inches (10 cm) below mid-knee has inside waistline facings, side zipper closing and front and back inverted pleats. Straight-legged pants have inside waistline facings and side zipper closing.
