Vogue American Designer 1598; ca. mid to late 1970s; Carol Horn - Misses' Blouse, T-Shirt, Jacket, Skirt, Pants and Bag. Loose-fitting, pullover, below-hip length blouse, with front, back and sleeves gathered into bias neckband, has scooped neckline, three-quarter length raglan sleeves and side hemline slits (back is longer than front). With or without purchased belt holding in fullness at waistline. Fitted, pullover, above-hip length T-shirt (for stretchable Knits only) has scooped neckline, cutaway armholes and neckline and armhole bands. Loose-fitting, unlined jacket, mid-knee length, has cardigan neckline, gussets, pockets in side seams and side hemline slits (lower edge of pocket shown through slit). Slightly flared, three-quarter length sleeves, set high on shoulders, have hemline slits. Topstitching. A-line skirt, mid-calf or ankle length, has waistband and back zipper closing. With or without carriers. With or without contrast apron gathered into waistband with tie ends. Straight-legged pants have elasticized waistline and pockets in side seams. Large square, tied at opposite corners, forms bag.
