Vogue's Bridal Design 1702; ca. mid to late 1970s; Views A and B: Floor length overdress, with skirt gathered into fitted hight-waisted bodice, has round neckline, center front slit in skirt and back snapped closing. Full-length sleeves are slightly flares or gathered into narrow cuffs with button and looping closing. View A overdress is for double edged scalloped lace only. Attached underskirt has fitted high waisted lined bodice with narrow shoulder straps, slightly flared skirt and back zipper closing. Purchased flower headpiece. Views C and D: Slightly above-floor length dress has fitted high-waisted bodice, slightly flared skirt and back zipper closing. Bias standing collar or scooped neckline. Slim or slightly flared full-length sleeves. With or without mousseline-lace trim.
