Vogue Designer Original 1709; ca. 1978; Belinda Bellville - Misses' Bridal Dess an Veil. Partially lined, floor length dress with slight train or evening orankle length dress has fitted bodice, with front and back pintucks, flared skirt, with or without hemline ruffle, and back zipper closing. Bodice has shaped neckline and contrast or self shaped yoke and inset midriff. Short, below elbow or full length sleeves are gathered at cap and gathered to narrow contrast or self sleeve band, creating self ruffle at lower edge. Topstitch trim. With or without purchased lace trim. Guide included in pattern to cut veil to desired length. Veil shown is three yards long. Veil mounted to headpiece. Purchased flower trim.
