Vogue American Designer Original 1802; ca. mid to late 1970s; Edith Head - Misses' Evening Dress and Stole. Loose-fitting dress, four inches below mid-knee or evening length, with neckband in casing forming gathers at round neckline, has center front and center back open to waist, back bodice wrapped to front at elasticized waistline, center back zipper closing in skirt and cap sleeves or cutaway armholes, self tie belt. Topstitching. Single layer stole (can be worn wrapped at neck), gathered and seamed at center, has single layer pockets. Topstitching.
