Vogue French Boutique 1808; ca. late 1970s; Christian Aujard - Misses' Blouse, Vest, Skirt and Culottes. Very loose-fitting blouse with front and back gathered into narrow standing front-buttoned collar, has round neckline, shaped shoulder yoke, front-buttoned band closing, slight center front inverted pleat and full, full-length sleeves set into deep armhole, gathered at cap and tucked into narrow buttoned cuffs. Sleeves may be worn slightly pushed up. Loose-fitting, above-hip length vest has round neckline, topstitched shoulder yoke, front opening (will meet at center front), deep cutaway armholes, side back seaming (no side seams), slot pockets and foldover braid trim. Foldover braid trim used as drawstring which holds in fullness at waistline. Very full bias skirt, mid-calf length, with front and back gathered into wide side-buttoned waistband, has side front slot pockets and side buttoned closing. Edgestitching. Very full flared culottes, mid-calf length, has wide shaped side buttoned waistband and side zipper closing. Topstitching.
