Vogue American Designer 1871; ca. 1979; Don Sayres - Misses' Dress and Belt. Loose-fitting dress, four inches below mid-knee, with bodice front gathered into forward shoulder seams, has round neckline, round collar-on-band, (View B contrast), pockets in side seams, front buttoned band closing, patch pockets with mock band and skirt front and back gathered into lined front and back hip yokes. Narrow hem. Above-elbow length sleeves are gathered into buttoned bands. Topstitch trim. Self tie belt wrapped twice around waistline or purchased belt. Purchased handkerchief.
