Vogue American Designer 1879; ca. 1979; Bill Blass - Loose-fitting, pullover sleeveless dress, four inches (10cm) below mid-knee or evening length with front and back tucked into narrow self bias binding; has bateau neckline, pockets in side seams and optional elasticized waistline. Armholes have narrow self bias binding. Bias tie ends form bow on left shoulder. Dress may be worn with or without narrow self bias belt. Square, single layer shawl. With or without faggoting trim (purchased or hand done) above hemline of dress and on shawl.
