Vogue American Designer 1945; ca. 1978; Bill Blass - Misses' Coat, Jacket, Blouse and Skirt. Very loose-fitting, flared, unlined, sleeveless coat, siz inches (15cm) below mid-knee with back gathered into bias neckband, has loop and button closing at neckline, center front opening (will meet at center front, no buttons), deep armholes, pockets in side seams and narrow hem. Top-stitching. Semi-fitted, below-waist length, lined jacket has notched collar, front-buttoned closing, buttonhole pockets and side hemline slits. Full-length sleeves have button and vent closing. Loose-fitting, above-hip length, pullover blouse (may be worn tucked in or out) with front and back gathered into shaped rectangular collar has narrow bias tie, round neckline, center front neckline slit and narrow hem. Full-length sleeves are gathered into buttoned cuffs. Purchased belt holds in fullness at waistline. Dirndl skirt, six inches (15cm) below mid-knee or evening length with front and back gathered into narrow waistband with belt carriers has pockets at sides, side zipper closing and narrow hem. Purchased belt.
