Vogue 1957

Vogue American Designer 1957; ca. 1979; Kasper - Misses' Shirt, Handkerchief, Vest and Skirt. Very loose-fitting, pullover shirt, above-hip length (may be worn tucked in or out) with front and back gathered into one piece self faced yoke has slightly extended shoulders, round neckline, round collar-on-band, front-buttoned band closing and narrow hem. Full-length sleeves may be worn rolled up (note: wrong side of fabric will show). Worn with or without purchased belt holding in fullness at waistline. Topstitch and edgestitch trim. Square handkerchief, 9 1/2" x 9 1/2" has narrow hem. Loose-fitting, unlined, below-waist length vest has V-neckline, front-buttoned closing, patch pocket and narrow hem. Topstitch and edgestitch trim. A-line skirt, six inches below mid-knee with front pleated (pleats released above high hipline) and back gathered into waistband has side front slanted pockets, back zipper closing and topstitch and edgestitch trim.
