Vogue Paris Original 1970; ca. 1978; Pierre Balmain - Misses' Jacket, Skirt and Blouse. Fitted, lined, above-hip length jacket has round neckline, standing collar, front-buttoned closing, side panels (no side seams), patch pockets, full-length two-piece sleeves and shoulder pads. Flared skirt, six inches below mid-knee, has side front and side back pressed pleats released at hipline, waistband with self belt carriers and side back zipper closing. Purchased belt. Loose-fitting blouse, gathered into front darts and at back yoke, has round neckline, bias, foldover collar extending into tie ends, front-buttoned closing and back inside tucks. Full-length sleeves are gathered at cap and into cuffs with button and loop closing. Topstitching. (NOTE: Jacket and skirt plaid will appear same as photographed when using a 2 3/4" plaid).
