Vogue American Designer 2269; ca. 1979; John Anthony - Misses' Jacket and Skirt. Semi-fitted, double-breasted, self lined to edge jacket, above-hip length, has slightly extended shoulder, shoulder pads, rounded welt pocket, side front and side back seams (no side seams) and full length lined sleeves. View A has contrast piping. Slim, straight, front-wrapped skirt, five inches below mid-knee or ankle length has waistband, upper right front tucks, left front and back cut-in-one (no left side seam) and tulip hemline. Very narrow hem finished by hand or by machine.
