Vogue American Designer 2285; ca. 1979; Bill Blass - Misses' Top and Skirt. Semi-fitted, partially lined, below waist length bias top has center front zipper closing and double bias ruffles gathered around neckline, center front and hemline. Front and back are gathered at center front, center back, side seams and armholes. Full, unlined, three-quarter length sleeves are gathered at cap and elasticized at lower edge with bias double ruffles. All ruffles have very narrow hem finished by hand or by machine. Slim, straight skirt, bottom of calf or evening length is gathered into waistband.
