Vogue American Designer 2900; ca. mid 1980s; Bill Haire for Friedericks Sport- Misses' Suit. Fitted, lined, below waist length jacket has shoulder pads, front-buttoned closing, standing collar, forward shoulder seams, front and back princess seaming, side panels (no side seams), shaped hemline, back slit and full length sleeves gathered at cap. Topstitching. A: Sleeves have stitched and released pleats and slit at lower edge. Purchased top. Flared skirt, below mid-knee or lower mid-calf length, has front pleated and gathered and back gathered into waistband, side seam pockets and back zipper.
