Vogue Couturier Design 324; ca. 1940; ONE-PIECE DRESS: This tailored dress with front pocket-interest, has a narrow bias collar, long fitted or short cuff-trimmed sleeves and a slim skirt. Narrow, shaped side-front panels extend from yoke to hem, are inset in front panel seams, have stitched detail forming shallow buttoned-down pockets and release into godet pleats below the hip pocket. Front shoulder yokes are in one with centre-front slide fastened panel. Shallow back shoulder yoke above narrow panel releasing into pleats. Skirt joins blouse at the waist.
