Vogue Couturier Design 379; ca. 1941; ONE-PIECE DRESS: Simulated two-piece dress with extended shoulders. Buttoned-front closing below shaped collar. Seaming at side-fronts release into dart pleats below bust. Gathered fullness concentrated at each side below waist-line. Front skirt finished on side waistband. Dart-fitted back blouse joins skirt under bias girdle section which is joined in underarm seams and held with tiny matching bow at centre-back. Skirt, straight at front and sides, has gathered fullness concentrated at back. Long or below-elbow-length sleeves.
