Vogue 5889 A

Vogue 5889; ca. 1930s; One-piece informal evening frock. Front skirt panel continues upward into the blouse forming a short shoulder cape. Extensions of this panel join girdle ends which tie at side back concealing waistline seam at sides and back. Four gored skirt; side sections are darted at top _no hip seams. Blouse under cape is dart pleated at front shoulders and tucked at back of neck. Skirt measures under 3 yards at lower edge.
