Vogue 7233; ca. 1979; Evening Cover-Ups: View A: For double edge scalloped lace only. Shawl is single layer with self ruffle trim. Edgestitching. View B: Loose-fitting, unlined, triangular shaped jacket with front and back tucked at shoulders, has front opening, continuous band extending into shaped hemline and openings in shoulder seams for arms (no side seams). View C: Square shaped, single layer pullover cover-up has neckline slit with narrow bias back neck binding. Deep hem stitched on right side gives border effect. Purchased trim. View D: Shaped, single layer cover-up with neckline gathered into narrow self bias neck binding extending into tie ends has purchased trim. Note: shading will occur with nap fabrics. 10 pattern pieces.
