Vogue 8270; ca. 1939; ONE-PIECE FROCK “EASY-TO-MAKE”. Frock is one-piece from neck to hem at both back and front. Front may button or be seamed down the centre below the collarless, built-up neck-line. Soft front fullness achieved by gathers at the shoulders and shirrings above and below the waist. Back is dart-fitted at the waist. Long or short gathered-top sleeves. Novelty or fabric belt.
