Vogue 8568; ca. 1939; Suit and Waistcoat. Tailored suit with fitted wrist length jacket and flaring skirt. The jacket has broad padded shoulders, notched collar, a choice of four or single-button closing and an underarm gore provides seams for fitting. Flap pockets at the hips and a single welt breast pocket. The two-piece sleeve is button-trimmed at wrist. The four-gored skirt is finished on a belt at the waist. The collarless button-front waistcoat has an adjustable buttoned-at-back belt.
