Vogue 8583; ca. 1940; One-Piece Dress. The bodice has a shallow V neck-line, soft gathered front fullness and a moulded fit at the sides and back. The long fitted or below-elbow length sleeves are gathered at the top. The three-piece skirt has shaped extensions at front reaching to the gathered blouse fullness and joins at the waist-line under tie belts across the back.
