Vogue 8634; ca. 1940; Misses One Piece Dress and Jacket "Easy To Make". Ensemble with waist length jacket and short sleeved dress. The dress features a flaring six gored skirt, built up and fitted at waist where it joins the blouse. High round neck yoke band buttoned at centre front above the gathered front blouse. The short jacket has a narrow shawl collar, long or short sleeves or squared off fronts with patch pockets or pocketless cut away fronts.
