Vogue 8781; ca. 1940; One-Piece Dress. One-piece dress with collarless V neck-line, has a sectional front with gathered fullness concentrated between shoulders and below the bust. The sectional skirt has deep pressed or unpressed godet pleats at front and back, and joins the blouse at regulation waist-line under a fabric or novelty belt. Darted-top sleeves may be long and fitted or short and sectional with draped fullness at bottom.
