8880 front

Vogue 8880; ca. 1940; Swim Dress and Shorts "Easy-To-Make". Swim dress with bare back mid-riff section. Bias centre-front bodice sections are in one with skirt. Shaped bodice back sections with two-button closing. Flared skirt has slide fastener closing at centre-back. Choice of contrasting binding with deep applied band at lower edge of skirt or novelty braid trimming. Two-piece shorts with slide fastener closing at left side.
