Vogue 8889; ca. 1940; Blouse. Tuck-in or overblouse has shaped collarless neck-line and slide fastener or loop and button closing at centre-back. Blouse is dart-fitted at waist. Bias binding finishes extended shoulders and slash at each side front. Gathers below slashes. Separate bias girdle on version with crushed below-elbow-length sleeves. Also long fitted sleeve or short sleeve.
