Vogue 8920; ca. 1941; ONE-PIECE DRESS. Dress has high neck-line with deep narrow V at front. Curved slashes below neck hold gathered fullness extending to underarm. Blouse is seamed at centre-front and below fullness, and across front waist-line under belt. No seam across back waist-line; skirt extends to join blouse above the matching belt. Flared four-piece skirt cut straight at sides and bias at centre-front and centre-back has more flare at front. Long fitted, or two-piece short gathered sleeve.
