Vogue 8976; ©1957; Maternity Tunic and Blouse. Flared tunic has low neck-line with or without bias tied collar. Released inverted pleat at centre back. Buttoned back belt, optional. Short sleeves or sleeveless. Blouse has buttoned closing below small collar. Push up sleeves.
Fabric suggestions: Shantung, Surah, Taffeta, Faille, Crepe, Barathea, Satin, Velvet, Corduroy, Cotton broadcloth, Pique. Tunic and Blouse also in: Lightweight woollen, Flannel, Wool crepe. Diagonal fabrics are not suitable. No allowance for matching plaid or stripes.
Optional shoulder pads: use Vogue Pattern 7503.
