Vogue Special Design S-4285; ca. 1941; "Milady" Wedding Gown

S-4285 BRIDAL GOWN OR ONE PIECE DRESS. The bodice has gathered front fullness confined in the long darts at each side of centre and is dart-fitted at back.  Choice of a shallow V neckline with loop and button closing at back or a low shaped front neckline.  Long bias sleeve with dart pleats, or a short draped sleeve.  Sheer bands at neck and on long sleeve of bridal version may be made of same fabric as veil with applied narrow bias folds of dress fabric.  Veil pattern not included. The skirt, even floor length or with train at back is gathered to the bodice at side-fronts and across back on a low curved line and is cut in one with the bodice at centre-front.
