Vogue Special Design S-4338; ca. 1941; Slim one-piece dress featuring a tunic front with surplice crossing at top, draped fullness confined in underarm seams and diagonal hem-line. Long or bracelet length sleeves with gusset at underarm. Shoulder seams continue down the sleeves. Seam across backwaist. Tie belts join in the underarm seam and tie at centre-back. Slim skirt with pressed r unpressed inverted pleats below the slide fastener closing concealed in centre-back seam.
