Woman's Day 5055; ©1953; Complete for Summer – A 3-pattern wardrobe. From Woman’s Day, the A & P Magazine, April 1953 issue. Middy jacket, 2-gore skirt, bow-tie blouse and square-neck blouse. With this pattern you can make a short-sleeved middy jacket; a 2-gore straight skirt with tiny hip darts and in-seam walking pleats; a button-front blouse with narrow tie ends at neckline and cap sleeves; and a sleeveless blouse with low-cut, square neckline. Finished center back length of skirt, including waistband, size 14, 30’’. Width at lower edge, size 14, 1 ½ yards.
