Advance 8123; ca. 1956; Adaptation of Original Design worn by Audrey Hepburn in the film "War and Peace". The Paramount film is dated 1956. The dress features an empire midriff that may be finished with a sash or Grecian-style criss-cross tie. The scoop neckline has a self-binding. The bodice front is softly gathered as is the four-piece skirt. The skirt flounce may be trimmed with draped ribbon. The sleeves may be 3/4 length or puffed. There is a side zipper opening.
